The owner and founder of Elite Diamond Performance, Jimmy Sheppard, focuses on individual instruction. He brings A wealth of knowledge to Elite Diamond Performance from years of experience in a variety of different areas of the game.
Jimmy played collegiately at FDU Madison and went on to play professionally for the Florence Freedom of the Frontier League.
Jimmy currently works as an Associate Scout for the Cincinnati Reds and is a member of the Professional Scouts Association.
After finishing his playing career, Jimmy coached at Randolph High School for 5 seasons. During his time there, the team won a state championship, county championship and two sectional championships.
Jimmy has also worked as an assistant coach at FDU Madison and has worked as a special instructor for numerous high schools in New Jersey.
Strength and Conditioning:
Jimmy is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He holds numerous other certifications from the Postural Restoration Institute and others. He has spent years training baseball players to become better athletes and prevent injury. Jimmy is also a contributing writer on baseball training for Stack.com.
